Dim Sum House: The Ultimate Cantonese Dim Sum Destination in Seattle

We bought a live red king crab, a live finish and live swamp eels from the seafood market next to it. They helped cook all the seafood in whatever way you want, they even could cook the king crab in three ways, very tasty the fried noodles and veggies are delicious . Highly recommended!

This is a great no frills Chinese Food and Dim Sum restaurant. Each meal comes with complementary hot tea, which was delicious. I ordered several items from the menu, all items were delicious and cooked perfectly. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

So good,yall... Everything we had was just amazing! I would have liked for my server to have given me the right boxes for my leftovers, He gave me plastic one for pastry's, My food leaked, and the juices got all over. Overall I highly recommend .

Fantastic dim sum spot! The shrimp dumplings and siu mai were fresh and flavorful, and the salt & pepper lobster was a must-try—crispy, meaty, and delicious. The zongzi here are huge (bigger than my hand!) and filled with authentic Chinese flavors: tender meat, sausage, peanuts, chestnut, and salted egg yolk. Very reasonably priced, with generous portions and lots of variety from dim sum to bakery treats. Best of all, there’s plenty of parking space(two hours free parking)—so much easier than dealing with Chinatown. Friendly service, authentic taste, and great value. Highly recommended!

Small, chill dim sum place. I enjoyed all the food I got. The shumai had more filling than other places I've had. The options geared more to seafood fillings than meat. It seemed like there were more varieties of dim sum but less flavors, example only shrimp dumplings vs shrimp and pork dumplings. Parking was easier than international district and prices seemed the same or a bit lower.

Chinese cuisine in Seattle is erratic. Outside of the International District (“Chinatown”), there are a few isolated establishments scattered about. Dim Sum House is that proverbial “diamond in the rough” for those diners already aware or those willing to enter its humble doorway. The dining area is small, perhaps 8 assorted tables. Take-out is very popular. As its name suggests, there is an extensive Dim Sum offering, coupled with an extensive menu of favorite dishes. The Salt and Pepper Squid and “Kong” Pao Chicken were among the best this diner has ever enjoyed. Fresh, bursting with flavor, and ample portions. Dishes arrived in an order decided by the kitchen rather than in an “expected” sequence. The service model appeared to be address one table at a time, from ordering to delivery, then on to the next. A great neighborhood sleeper. We decided to go for a feast at our first visit & ordered a bunch to sample. Fast, fresh, & cheap - all that dim sum is about. Surprised to see shrimp toast on the menu!

Very traditional Chinese dim sum. My daughter and wife really enjoyed every dish we tried.
